About Me

I’m a proud Texan, wife, and mother of two, raised in a family of public servants who taught me the value of service and community. After earning my undergraduate degree from Loyola University New Orleans — where I returned after Hurricane Katrina to help with rebuilding efforts — I returned home to Texas.

For more than a decade, I’ve served the people of Bexar County as a prosecutor in the District Attorney’s Office, working in Misdemeanor, Juvenile, Criminal Trial, and for the past eight years, in the Family Violence Division. I’ve prosecuted a wide range of cases — from DWIs to murders — and handled some of the most sensitive cases involving domestic violence and crimes against children.

Beyond the courtroom, I’ve had the privilege to serve as an intern in the Texas Music Office in the Office of the Governor in 2009. I was honored to be named Queen Freret V by the Krewe of Freret in 2016. I also took part in the Alexander Briseno Leadership Development Program through the San Antonio Hispanic Chamber of Commerce in 2018, where I further honed my skills in leadership, collaboration, and civic engagement.

Now, I’m excited about the opportunity to continue serving Bexar County in a new capacity - as your 226th District Court Judge. I’m running to bring experience, integrity, and fairness to the bench — and to serve Bexar County with the same dedication I’ve shown throughout my career.
